Putting Pop Culture In It's Place
Soma Boy... damn was that good stuff! You are right on the money. I can think of a ton of examples of the ONTOs in my life fitting right into a lot of what you were talking about. I just wish I knew about the domains years ago when I was in school... it would have been so helpful in dealing with authority figures and classmates. Thinking back to past jobs, things would have gone a lot smoother if I had known you... I don't know how anyone functions without learning the about the 4 Domains and Neuro-Somatics. BTW, those punk-asses in 2nd grade... I know where a few of them are right now and it ain't pretty! LOLADF-Sitting at the Air Desk, looking at boxes... will moving day ever get here?
My Father, my wife, and a couple of my best friends. Wicked ONTOs, and none of them pull punches...you get what they think and what they see every time, right or wrong. ONTOlarity can be frustrating and hurtful, AND as Dr. Mark said, usually deadly accurate...My father is often wrong...never in doubt, in fact I used to joke with him that he should have a radio show with a call in number 1-800-CALL-NICK.ONTOlarity is like a shiny beacon in in a storm to a floundering PHYLO, as it gives us hope and focus during times of confusion or despair. Even if it turns out that the advice wasn't the best, it was something, and at a time of despair or confusion, some focus is better than none...My wife often doesn't know the answer to something, I mean like the specifics, a name or a direction, but she is always so clearly focused on what SHE wants, that she makes it easy for me to follow her lead...ONOTs get thrown under the bus a lot, because they can be huge pains in the asses, but a coherent ONTO with a good heart and a clear intent, is a very powerful ally to have. Those punk-asses are another story, and we all know their story...or do we?Happy ONTO week everybody. With LOve and Gratitude,Dr. Jeb
